Update on Our Attempts to Influence the Ag "Allocation"

To Members of the NASULGC System:

As you know, the Budget and Advocacy Committee (BAC) of NASULGC's Board on Agriculture Assembly held a conference call on April 16 with representatives from throughout the land-grant system to seek support for our efforts to influence the amount of money "allocated" to the Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittees by the chairmen of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees. { Details: www.nasulgc-bac.com/brt_action/04-APR-16.htm }

We are pleased to report that many institution heeded the Call to Action, contacting their senators and representatives asking them to carry a simple message to the Chairmen of the Appropriations Committees: Give the Agriculture Subcommittee at least as much money as last year.
