To Members of the NASULGC System:
As you know, the Budget and Advocacy Committee (BAC) of NASULGC's
Board on Agriculture Assembly held a conference call on April 16
with representatives from throughout the land-grant system to seek
support for our efforts to influence the amount of money
"allocated" to the Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittees by the
chairmen of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees. {

We are pleased to report that many institution heeded the Call to
Action, contacting their senators and representatives asking them
to carry a simple message to the Chairmen of the Appropriations
Committees: Give the Agriculture Subcommittee at least
as much money as last year. To date, we have received fax and
